Bluetooth is solid for me on 18C. Your dealer is the problem, along with bugs. My dealer has always supported my concerns, and I’m only down to a few niggles (albeit, after 13 months with my car).

Try another dealer?

J77, have you tried another dealer to get this warranty issue resolved?

The issue of getting the resolution would look to be more to do with the dealer if all you need is the 18C update (or even the more recent 18D) that it sounds as if they are either too idle to do the work or they can't be bothered to keep themselves up to date with the product they sell! Either way another dealer may be more responsive.

All LR dealers up here are in the same group, all Pentland. But I will enquire with others in the group.

To be fair they were great with my headlight problems.

I’ve just had the new update 18c with apple car play- I have to say I was exited over it. After using it I simply can’t understand what the big deal is and why every one keeps going on about it.

The JLR - interface and own front display has everything on it which is so simple to use and you can do a lot more.

I dnt think I be using it again.

I’m not overly bothered about car play, I just want software that works and LR seem completely incapable of doing that.

Waze, Google Maps, Dictation, myTuner Pro, Standardized Interface, Speed... lots of good reasons to like ACP.

The LR software has been stable in many areas. It’s also aesthetically a nice piece of work for sure. I have cool customized screens, for example one that is just Contacts I can press to call. Lots to like here as well, but LR is a Car company first, and a software company second... well, maybe fifth or sixth :)

I’ve been updated to S18D_18.47.5... and I can confirm that Car Play improvements are the real deal.

- remote start then access CarPlay works
- Car Play launch is quick and seems reliable

Some other confirmed noticeable items:

- new graphics in mode select
- some new wallpapers
- lower screen radio favourites work (they don’t disappear)
- ambient lighting remembers what I set it to

Not a full test, but so far so good.
