My dealer said you can remove them using dental floss!! I asked for them to be removed when ordering the car but they conveniently forgot during the build.

Dental floss to take the badges off

A rubber drill bit to take the foam off

WD40 on a cloth to take the sticky residue off after that

DO NOT use a plastic badge remover on the rear boot letters as the trim they are stuck to is plastic and scratches easily.

They remove the badges at the dealer not while being built apparently? (so my dealer told me)

I believe the dealerships do it, just be careful they don’t do it in a rush, as when my brother ordered an Evoque a few years back he ordered it to be de-badged but it came with them on, so the dealership said don’t worry we will get them off while you wait, he should’ve declined but said ok, only to be presented with a deep scratch where the badge used to be 🙄, they had to get the whole hatch re-sprayed as he had borelo black so a bit more difficult to blend, which then led to numerous trips to resolve a rattle in the hatch (turned out to be a dropped bolt)
Not a great new car experience

I've de-badged every car i've ever had new, clean lines and easier to clean. I actually wanted the Velar badging removed too but it arrived with it on and i didn't trust the workshop to remove as its feels VERY well adhered to the paintwork.

It was the easiest and cleanest to remove and replace in my experience.

I've only ever ordered my car debadged. Badges are cringe.
I agree I always took them off all previous beemers even the big engine ones like my 340i or 330d the XDrive badge was hideous also.

No, nor the rear Velar badge, although dealer would probably do so if you asked.
