I claim no credit for the nature of this thread
I originally saw it on other forums :
- its always a talking point.
I refitted my dog cage and scratched the rear bumper in the process, as the wife needed the boot empty for "shopping"
A dirty landrover, is a happy landrover.
So what did you do with your Velar today?

No, not at the moment. The tech manager from LR is here to inspect my cracking headlights.
But it would be another Velar even though this one has been in the dealers more times than my previous 9 LRs put together.

Bought and fitted a BUMPER PROTECTOR so the same thing doesn't happen to me.

To work -> To home 100KM round trip everyday. The Velar makes the morning and evening traffic tolerable.

Drove to london and back
80 miles and averaged 40.5mpg.
Not bad for a D300, and 30% better than my D5

Took a large load of recyclables to the landfill. The worker there was admiring the car and asked how much it cost!

Popped out to Sorbie a Tower to see the weeping poppy display and then to local town to buy a loaf of bread (don't ask!)
32 mile round trip, average 39.5 mpg on leg 1 (7.8 miles), 39.9 mpg leg 2 (9.3 miles) and 36.2 mpg leg 3 (16.4 miles).

looked at you tube videos, pressing the refresh button and filter for 'uploaded today' as i'm sure I've watched every single velar video there is. I couldn't speak German before but now sprechen fließend Deutsch
