Today’s : minor gripe, pleasent surprise

Had (obviously wrongly!!) assumed that the R Dynamic SE came as standard with some form of autonomous breaking in the event of a likely collision. My last BMW came with this as standard - if the car in front broke suddenly, a warning light would appear on the dash and the car would break if required. I take it this is included in one of the many option packs?

It should have it as standard across the model range.

Though it can be disabled from within the interactive display settings if my memory is correct

On the SE you should have as standard - emergency braking which works in speeds of the range 5-60kmh
The drive pack includes high speed emergency braking as well ( standard on hse)

Will have another look tonight - perhaps it's disabled. Noticed the other day in a situation where the BMW would have applied the breaking, but in the Velar nothing happened - other than me frantically breaking!!!!!
