BootneckShuffle, I was wondering, have you contacted your dealer re the 'magic cure' upgrade mentioned by Kingoyinbo (on the previous page)?

Hey Fenton, yeh I have mate and they’re saying it’s coming soon.

I’m highly pessimistic that it’ll fix the issue, I can tell you now if it doesn’t then the vehicle is getting rejected cos I’ve had enough

Is this related? There appears to be a resolution at the end.

Update was as follows:
"The technician has carried out the checks on your vehicle and sent a video link to Land Rover technical regarding the crackling noise from the speakers, they have replied advising they know of the concern and there will be a new software update coming out to resolve this but not until end of July. "

My Dealer is excellent, dealing with a Lady who genuinely cares about trying to resolve it.

I am not convinced however that Land Rover are telling my dealer the truth. I don't think they have a clue what is causing this. If they did they would have released a memo to all dealers as it's a widespread issue.

i dont understand why you are not all rejecting your cars because of this? if nothing else, to get the appropriate compensation of in some cases, years of crackling...
