I'm constantly frustrated, and a little concerned, at how often I am forced to look at the touchscreen while driving. Something as simple as adjusting the temperature means I need to look away from the road for a couple of seconds. It's frustrating because it seems such a simple set of commands to program into the car's voice control.
On the other hand, pretty much everything in my house is voice controllable using Alexa and a Raspberry Pi controller that I've programmed up.
Soooooo, a question for any tech guys here. Is there any sort of control interface (OBD?) that allows the remote setting of the various infotainment features? In my ideal scenario, I would hook up a raspi with a microfone, and Alexa Voice Server, and write my own voice control app.
