just been reading in the forum about having the extremely hard foam removed and softer memory foam on the bolsters.
For a cost of US$200 sounds like the best option for my butt.

So off to the upholsterers i go, as my butt is screaming for some driving comfort, hoping i can have the job done for approx the same cost.

Update.......spent the best $600 to have both the driver & front passenger seats reupholstered with softer foam on the side seat bolsters.
The workmanship was great, and you would not know by looking that anything has changed.

All up, still disappointed that for a Luxury car, we have to take this measure of action to make it comfortable.

Hi !
Got my Velar D240 HSE 2 weeks ago and I'm a bit disappointed also by the 20x20 seats.
They hurt in the middle of my back and I can't find the right position.
In my first F-Pace I think I had the same issue (I had the 18x18 seats) but not on my second one on which I didn't tick the option and only got the 10x10 seats.
I'm a bit surprised that we can't adjust the seat to remove the pain point knowing that the massage feature removes it when I use it.

Did someone find the right position without going to a specialist?

I know I have a retroverted position (I don't know if it's the right expression as I'm French) and thus I am more feeling such issue.

My driver's seat was uncomfortable in the lower to mid back area until I got the adjustment between the height of the lower back support, how far it was sticking out and the side cushion position. Since getting these just right the seat is very comfortable.

Sorry I didn’t get what you meant !
Do you mean you used the lumbar support and moved it up and also used the side adjustment to tighten the seat?

Mig, yes.

I found it took quite a bit of adjustment of the lumber support in and out as well as up and down, along with the side adjustments to tighten and loosen the seat. For me there is a sweet spot where it is very comfortable. My wife has a completely different set of settings for her, which having the memory settings makes it very convenient to swap back and forth.

You are able to store lumber & side bolster positions in the memory settings? My 20 way seats don’t do that:-(

MikeJL, I am assuming so as I find my wife's settings uncomfortable. It could be she hasn't changed the lumber and side settings just the seat and back, height and angle settings.
