I own a 2 month old Velar and 2 days ago I got a chip on the windscreen from what I presume is a stone. A trend seems to be developing here. Can I get it fixed under warranty? PS I'm in Malaysia

DON'T DAMAGE THE WINDSHIELD!

So this happened also to my one month old Velar this morning. Small stonechip, I’ve seen it coming for a fracture of a second and bang...

Ouch!
Thank you for highlighting that sensors should get recalibrated after windscreen is replaced. I guess servicing team should know it but it’s always good to double-check and ask about it.

Get use to it, This will happen quite alot !

The window screen design is very poor and unfit for day to day usage, in my opinion.

I had my heated windshield replaced twice due to damages. The bright side I haven't had to wail more than a few days to have it fixed

Is wailing obligatory when waiting for windscreens

JLR & Pilkington really need to address the issues with the inadequate windowscreen !

I have countless nicks and chips along with 3 stars and a star that eventually cracked (2 happened within the past few days).

Should I arrange replacement with the dealer? Thank goodness for glass coverage (a must in Arizona).
