New Defender

Post by Maltise » Tue Sep 10, 2019 10:13 pm

What do you think? I personally love it, and it oozes Land Rover. This one is gonna be a beast, this new era Defender is just getting started. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this new Icon.

Obviously it looks a lot more up to date than the old model but I agree, I love it! I think they’ve nailed the design with it carrying over some of the classic features (the white steel wheels would look awful on so many cars but the ones I’ve seen in reviews etc today look awesome!)
MY20 D240 R-Dynamic SE, Santorini Black, 14 way heated, memory seats, Heated/power recline rear, 20” 7 spike gloss black wheels, Electrically deployable towbar, Fixed panoramic roof, Rear seat release , Power pack 2

I just priced one at £96k.

I’m not sure what they are doing and what market other than footballers and Arabs, they are aiming for.
Current R-Dynamic D180 S with a few extras successfully rejected.

On order:
D275 R-Dynamic HSE, Firenze Red, Heated Steering Wheel (a must after missing it out on the old car) Dynamic Pack, Black Roof, Privacy Glass.

Looks very nice on those white steel wheels.
I wonder how it drives.

It look bloody amazing !

Bit pricey maybe but it's now the perfect Discovery 3/4 upgrade for those that feel the D5 is a bit 'posh'.
Velar HSE D240 - MY19 (1st Range Rover and my 10th LR now)
Served by the excellent Shukers Land Rover of Ludlow - 20 years of amazing customer service.

I love it!

Defender 90 D200 S will be replacing my Velar. Paid a £500 expression of interest months back but I can’t order a 90 yet.
