Considering to start hunting birds

Post by VelarFI » Mon Jun 28, 2021 3:53 pm

Warm fuzzy feeling one has when getting back perfectly detailed car. All the swirl marks have been buffed away, black plastic parts look like new.
This time that warm feeling lasted 5 minutes after leaving the detailer. A flock of birds bombed the front and top of the car all the way to the antenna.

Good idea! Dispatching pigeons and seagulls is good sport and ought to be recognised.

Count yourself lucky. Last year a 120mph pigeon strike at Donington Park destroyed the fairing on my Ducati Panigale and nearly had me off. I hate pigeons more than you do !

I feel your pain…
Makes my blood boil when I've just spent a good hour cleaning the Velar to come back within 30 mins and there’s bird poo splattered over it.
I’m sure they watch from the trees and do it on purpose :)
Enough's, enough, so I've bought a car cover with soft inner for when I’ve just cleaned it and it was delivered today. Sorted!
