Quicksilver Rear Section

Hi All,

I am very tempted to purchase a Quicksilver rear exhaust section to finish off my Velar.

Before I do, I had the following questions:
1. Is anyone aware of warranty implications after fitting?

2. Is anyone aware of a main dealer (or LRO specialist) that might be able to help with fitting? I have read a few owners have fitted theirs themselves, but I honestly have no mechanical experience at all and would need a dummies how-to guide!

Thanks!

I'm not sure it will have zero warranty implication, I'd ask the question.

No problem with the warranty, Any mechanic can fit it, I did it myself, took about 30 mins
Did you require any specialist tools or previous mechanical knowledge? If it's as simple as unscrewing a few bolts and replacing the pipes I'd be tempted to give it a stab with my air suspension raised! That would also give me the option to swap the pipes back over if ever I needed to.

On the warranty side of things, I just worry that if I deviate away from the manufacturers specification and somethings goes wrong with the exhaust system I could be seriously out of pocket as I'm sure my dealer would certainly use this as a scapegoat.

Without the warranty concerns, for the price, this would be a lovely way to finish the car off without spending SVA money! My car is fairly stock, just re-coloured my tailpipes and de-badged the rear LRO badge, and the wing R-Dynamic badges...improving the exhaust note would finish the car off nicely

Had my car in for service, no mention of exhaust .The only thing that could go wrong is the cat system if the back popping and crackles that it makes, blows the cat out.
But I'm not concerned .My car is the 380 though, not sure the sound you get with the diesel engine
I have 2 years left on warranty , I like to enjoy the ride

I have this exhaust for my P380 now for over 1 year. It certainly sounds better, but sometimes it would be nice if it was valved so you could make it quiet (early morning startup for example).

Install is easy. Any muffler shop can do this in under 1h.

It's just exhaust after the cat, no warranty issues.
