I just installed the latest version of North America maps, .157. It seems to go back to the version where freeways (highways/motorways) were depicted in red, which made it very difficult to figure out the traffic color indications. Has anyone experienced the same thing?
I've got the latest European maps and can't say I've noticed a colour change. I have noticed the traffic updates (and this colour changes) have got more sensitive though. The slowest bit of traffic will cause my map to turn orange or red now.
As far as I know as many other automotive companies JLR maps are based on Nokia Here navigation and from there it uploads current traffic status.
If you see odd traffic on your maps maybe compare it with https://wego.here.com/traffic/ , if there's a difference between that and what you see on your car then most likely it's a bug in JLR software/servers.
The "old" maps showed major highways in red, which made it difficult to see traffic color coding. The new versions show the highways in white, which is much better to display color traffic coding (Red, yellow etc). But at times the "old maps" display on the dash rather than the new maps. It's intermittent but annoying.
