Loss of data / usb charging

My Velar is intermittently not connecting using the in car SIM... if I go into the menu it says “SIM not supported”.

I noticed last night that when this happens, the USB ports under the armrest also seem to stop working. Anyone know what this might be / had anything similar?

My car drops USB Randi LG scd has done since purchase but in JLR speak it is working to design parameters. As for data issues my car constantly looses signal and regains but I do not get a warning saying SIM card not supported. The mobile data drop outs do not reflect network coverage. I have a mobile on the same network and signal stays strong so no corilation.

I would get your dealer to update the various control modules. Phase 4 update might help. Either way it is not adding positively to your user experience!
