@bootneckshuffle,

Can you test your car on a moderate incline, between 2 and 6 degrees and see if it rolls back (with auto stop / start working normally, i.e. engine off when it stops)?

They have told me 'no fix' so keen to see if they do have one...

Thx!

Andy S - if stop/start engages, you have to rock the wheel before pulling away otherwise yes it will roll back, absolutely shouldn’t do this but that’s what I find. If I try to pull away immediately by pressing the throttle whilst stop/start is still engraved then yes the car will roll back slightly

okay, so it still rolls back. Sure, I know the fix, but shouldn't have to do it.. very annoying, and potentially dangerous..

speaking to a few other in the know and this roll back issue could be a safety issue and if LR wont address it, one for the DVSA.. anyone got a fix applied yet?

Hi Andy, car defo rolls back slightly on pulling away from stop/start. Quite why they can’t program the car to hill hold with stop/start engaged is beyond me

On a trip into town yesterday (Edinburgh so plenty of hills) the car didn’t roll back once. It’s weird how sometimes it can be a nightmare and other times it seems fine.

I too have noticed its intermittent, which makes it un-predictable, and hence even worse.. I can get mine to roll back about a foot, if I do it enough times in stop start traffic (and not rock the steering wheel), annoying... it seems to affect all Velars... (anyone have a new Evoque?)
