SVAD Reviews

Autocar and Top Gear, but more importantly - a nice video here (in Spanish):

I love how they managed to make it sound refined instead of raw. Also I thought it lost some style, but ignoring the still shots, the video made me reconsider.

This has been quite cleverly engineered - not manic like a normal SVR as it does not suit the model's ethos.
But also completely bonkers to shoehorn a V8 into a SUV.

Any serious performance car enthusiast not likely to consider a 2+ ton behemoth.
But for all you RR fanboys, something to wet your lips, i suppose.

Well, considering the likes of GLC AMG 63 have their share of fans, maybe this one too would find some love. If you were considering top specced P380 or D300, both of them are nearly as heavy, and price-wise it won't be that far. Even the fuel economy won't kill you compared to the P380, which is unavailable now.

One more review of the Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition, this time in French. I've no idea what the guy is saying but I wish he could shut up and let us listen to it the engine:

Not sure I’d like it. I had the 5L 500bhp RRS and for some reason a petrol engine just didn’t feel right in an off road vehicle. Don’t get me wrong it was bonkers fast but missed the low down torque and rock steady idle of the D300.

Loving the interior and exterior tweaks but not sure I’d love the engine so much in this car. I think it feels a lot better in the Jag XFR
