Is the car at a high altitude or very cold when this appears?

My car always exhibits this when I'm on my ski trips. It just disappears after a couple of days when I return home.

I've just got back from Andorra and you're absolutely right. It appeared in the mountains and disappeared when back to sea level.
Any thoughts on whether this has any consequences, or can it be safely ignored?

Mmm.. so it's water and not glue then.
I'd report it ; condensation could creep into places that could cause damage or affect electronics.
And LR really should then report it back to the manufacturer.
