Registration Plates Uk

Post by Tel » Tue Jun 30, 2020 12:19 pm

Have just bought new Velar. Which rear number plates look best 53 x 15 oversized or regular 52x11?

I have a zero plate from Four Dot that I would highly recommend - On the Velar the smaller the better

I noticed some dealers often put the front number plate higher up the front bumper. I don't know why as they look far better as pictured above.

Early UK production cars had a factory-fit plinth for the reg plate to be screwed in and so their position was in a standard position.
Some owners like me have had the plinth removed, and the newer cars dont have the plinth at all; giving you flexibility on position.

The fourdot plates can be specified to registration (size - length/width) so further flexibility.

agreed...
with mine its lower down, which kind of works as it hides the 4 ruddy screw holes.
Velar 250HSE Dynamic . 21" wheels, lots of bells, whistles etc.. Also run an Abarth 595 172bhp.
XF's in the recent past .
