I have phase 3 update installed - and InControl is working smooth and a bit snappier now. What version is supposed to be shown exactly?
Mine is 2017C.10-4957

Well thats the same version I am having issues with.

Currently sat in dealership now and car is being updated to what they have confirmed is 19c

So will be interesting to see what I get back........ Probably the same as what its come in with lol

Still have an issue with the bottom ICTP panel going dark on me though, which I feel is more hardware than software issue. :-(

Probably the 19c update is referred to the “firmware” update and not “software”, but i’m Just guessing from what I saw in their system, as you can see in the picture below “19C” is stated on the left while on the right is still saying “update needed”

And the picture in my previous post is what I got

Just had a call with my dealer and he commented that after upgrading a customer's Velar, voila! navigation, Bluetooth, all inside ictp stopped working or disappeared.

Be careful and make sure your are not the first ones in your dealer 😔

As per previous posts, I believe the hardware control units or CPU's or whatever you want to call the hardware is made by several different manufacturers for Land Rover. They might have been manufactured to different tolerances and there might well be different versions of the update all labelled the same depending on what hardware is in your car. My car was not accepting any updates and had to be replaced. Took 10 weeks and I was told one module alone costs in the region of £ 2,000, under warranty.

All speculation of course.

I think @loz is right about bits of hardware coming from various manufacturers and that is the nub of the issue. Before I get the dealer to take it back, my 2107 FFRR hadvthe infotainment unit replaces at a reported cost of £3,800. It fixed some faults but new ones appeared....yet other 2017 FFRR perform perfectly..just like our Velar really!

I had the "latest" update done this week and it ruined my USB functionality after the previous update had mostly fixed it. On the plus side, it seems to have completely eliminated any remaining lag I had; Both touchscreens and the steering wheel controls are all snappy now. Bluetooth is flawless, though album art is still hit or miss via Apple Music. USB playback still works fine, but I cannot control the screen at all while plugged in. It freezes instantly and I have to control music directly from the phone. The song info fails to update as well, so it never actually reflects what's playing. Looks like it's back to bluetooth for me.

Oh dear, that’s very bad news! I’ve booked my car in to see what updates they find. Can you tell us what app version is shown in your display (as shown by another user above)?

It’s the same 2017C.10-4957, so I’m not sure what was installed.
