Its not a debate!

I went to order Corris...I was told I could not (along with a few hundred more people) 'you'll have to have Eiger now!' even though my build had it & it's still on there now....on one hand without seeing the whole car in Eiger Grey colour I would probably ask for Corris still(given the choice) but I'm happy with the Eiger too - maybe being a little more rare(ATM) - looks more steely but the dealer said (true or not) Corris was oversold... I still don't understand why they would change it then....Look what Merc did for Silver ! :lol:

I think the Velar would suit a solid Grey, similar to that of Audi.

Strange, I was shown the colours two weeks ago, corris grey was still their.
I now have a corris grey now sat on my drive.

Strange you was shown this colour - even on their own website you can not opt for it.....also I'm sure you can not get Corris from April this year....guessing your Velar was not a new build....but from stock...

No worries fella, TBH I hope the smaller Velar looks a little better as the big panels on the RR make the paint look a little flat IMHO :? - I've chosen all the Black things I can even the my wheels (Alloy Wheel - 22" 9 Split-Spoke 'Style 9007) are being powder coated gloss black to liven it up a bit

Friend of mine has just got the new Evoque in Eiger- looks lovely in the skin

I'd say more silvery than I was expecting - some way between Indus and Corris

Thanks for your opinion Dan - I agree from what I saw at the showroom - however looking at a Jag & trying to visualize that colour on a Velar is hard for me....brain does not compute :lol:

Having an Eiger Grey on order I've been trawling the web for pictures for a ridiculous amount of time :lol: ... I'm pretty sure this picture posted today on Instagram is an Eiger Grey Velar....



And my dealer thinks this is Eiger Grey too...

You are not alone! LOL - its been in my cookies for 3 months! - good find

I'm new here and live in Germany. I read a lot in the background.
I ordered a velar d300 se in eiger gray in june and can not wait.
Unfortunately, the color eiger gray has never seen live.
I found a new video of velar sva in youtube today.
what do you all mean? is the color eiger gray?

Many thanks Nick! - Indeed Eiger Grey IMHO - Dare I say I like it alot! - although I suspect when the direct sun light or bright lights under fluorescents means it could look a bit silverish?....I'm a Corris fan - but quite like the fact JLR said it's been over sold now & I get something a little different for my money...PS I brought I nice polar white with black pack GLC & the wife decided to wrap it Matte Grey! :lol:

At least you won't have to look at pictures much longer!

I needed to stop looking... I changed my order with my dealer today and added the black pack :lol: The sliver bit at the back was just nagging at me.

Still a wait for me apparently JLR hold the cars until about a week before handover - my actual eyes on will be 24th Augt - its going to be a 6 and a bit weeks! :lol:
Good decision on the black pack - it was also one main bug bear!

No....only got the e-mail today...after they have Glossed the wheels black - I shall go over to look - I don't want to be disappointed in any way
