If the car has done lots of short journeys or been standing the battery charge may not be enough to have the car in wake mode that allows remote connection. A long drive normally solves the issue.

 

No it's not this I turned it off yesterday by accident, it was working fine yesterday. All other functions including remote start work fine just not Journeys.

 

Have you tried both apps? I find the "new" version is much slower to connect to the car and send/receive commands/data the "old" one is much more robust and updates very quickly in comparison.
No answer on the website, are you able to transfer maps from that ie is it connecting to the car?

 

I find the new Remote app far faster to update than the old one. It's also never not connected whereas the old one would fail quite regularly. Weird.

 

All sorted. Nothing to do with using the new app I was using that already. Had to delete the vehicle from the account and re-add it. It's all working again.
