Ottocast U2AIR Pro connectivity issue

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a trouble free Landrover Day😂.

MY20 has wired car play. Recently purchased the ottocast U2AIR Pro for witless connectivity. Works first thing in the morning, but after returning to the car my phone (IPhone 11 IOS 6.6, will not connect, even though I have enabled “connect when locked”. Only way to reconnect is by unplugging the dongle and re-boot……? Thanks in advance for any help. What other dongle are Velar owners with wired car play are using?

Before my wireless Pivi Pro I used an Ottocast and a CarPlay2Air before that. Both worked fine after leaving car and rejoining. I left permanently connected.
